Nick Spencer is a visual designer with experience in all phases of graphic design inclusive of: print, broadcast, film and media. His clients have included but are not limited to: Cineplex Odeon, Peter Townshend of “The Who”, Actor James Earl Jones, BET-TV "Rap City," The Discovery Channel, PBS, Vertex Films International (Taiwan), The New York Times, Motion Picture Association, NTT/Japan, Digital Electronics Corporation (DEC), the White Sox Baseball team, the Oakland A's Baseball team, MCI, SoftMed Systems, Monk Magazine, Bell Atlantic, Digiscents Inc. and WIS Technologies. He has been faculty at the Academy of Art University, Program Director of Multimedia at LaSalle-DHU International DougHau University Campus in Shanghai, China and faculty in the Graphic Design department at NOVA in Alexandria, VA. He has been a pubic speaker for CSI Digital, and design conferences with Miller Freeman focused on topics concerning digital graphics. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and a BA in Fine Art from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.

After apprenticing to George Gray Studios, and contracting as in-house graphic talent to ad agencies, newspapers and studios in New York City, Nick Spencer Studio was established as a commercial art business in 1983. This studio provided a host of graphic design services inclusive of editorial and advertising print design, branding, illustration and photo-retouching, serving a clientele in New York and Washington DC. Nick Spencer Studio evolved into Nick Spencer Design. As an independent contractor for creative services in San Francisco, Shanghai (CN) and Washington DC, services provided address a broader diversity of media projects, focus on the creation of digital content for the broadcast, interactive and graphic industries. The range of content creation includes the design and production of 2D and 3D graphics and animations for commercial broadcast, as well as web-site development and all facets of graphic design.
